Event Overview


No Mans LAN is an gaming event hosted every year at St.Clair College by the St Clair ITC Club. Players show up with their computers, connect into a network designed by the ITC Club and play in tournaments. Other gaming events are available during the weekend long event. The No Mans LAN is not just for the competitive top tier gamer. Anyone can come out. Being able to enjoy the games you like with hundreds of other like-minded players is an experience you will never forget. This year the LAN party is expected to be even bigger. This year marks the 10th anniversary of No Mans LAN and we’re pulling out all the stops this time; bigger prizes, bigger venue, more events and a much faster network.

No Mans LAN is a gaming event hosted every year at St. Clair College by the St Clair ITC Club. The event is where gamers gather to play their favourite video games on PC and console. We will be awarding over $1000 in prizes. Come and be part of this three day long event and join hundreds of other gamers for an experience you won't regret.

Tournament Rules

All these rules applies to all tournament games

  • Eligibility
    • • Must have purchased a BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) player pass
    • • Must be present at the tournament (May not participate online from another location)
    • • Players must be registered for the Tournament prior to the start of the tournament in order to participate.
  • Sportsmanship
    • • Players are expected to follow high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy and respect
    • • Any infraction of these fundamental principles may be deemed cause for disqualification
    • • Any attempts to hack or otherwise obtain an unfair advantage will be grounds for disqualification and removal from the event as well as the possibility of being banned from future events
  • General Rules
    • • Any and all disputes must be brought to the tournament organizer.
    • • Delays of more than 5 minutes may be grounds for disqualification.
    • • After the game has ended, captains/players are obligated of informing the results to tournament organizer.
    • • Captains are to organize their team to be ready 30 minutes prior to the start of the tournament.
    • • Captains are to locate each other and commence the game promptly.
    • • If the Tournament matches start without the permission from a organizer, the match is restarted.
    • • Captains are to locate each other and commence the game promptly.
    • • Ultimately the tournament organizer have the right to change the rules if needed.
    • • Tournament organizer may issue a time limit for the player’s absence. (For example: a bathroom break).
    • • In case of technical failure or connection loss during a game, inform a tournament organizer immediately.
    • • Tournament organizer have the authority to disapprove equipment brought by players.

Tournament Games

Due to time restraints tournament details and rules have changed.

Tournament Details:

  • 3 Deck lists submitted to admins during registration.
  • Matches are best out of 3.
  • Play style will be double elimination tournament brackets with a winner and a loser bracket.
  • Prizes for first and second will be awarded in each bracket.

Tournament Rules:

  • Deck lists will be submitted to tournament organizers during registration.
  • Each players class compositions will be made public prior to the first round.
  • No deck editing after lists submitted.
  • One ban will be allowed each game prior to class selection.

Tournament Details:

  • The tournament is 5v5 tournament draft on Summoner’s Rift.
  • The tournament will begin with a round robin and then move into a single elimination bracket.
  • The top one or two teams will advance out of pools depending on the number of registered teams.
  • All games will be best of 1 except the finals, which will be a best of 3.
  • The side as well as first ban/pick will be chosen at random.
  • The most recently released champion is automatically banned.
  • In the event of a tie, a head-to-head will decide the winner.
  • If the winner cannot be determined, the tied team(s) with the longest game time will be eliminated until a head-to-head can decide who advances.
  • In the event of a disconnection or failed game prior to first blood or 10 minutes into the game, the game is to be remade; any disconnects after first blood or 10 minutes will not result in a rematch and the game is to continue.
  • Bracket seeding will be random.

Tournament Details:

  • Counterstrike: GO 5v5
  • Grouped Round Robins (Bo1)
  • Half of each group will move onto Single Elimination(Bo3)

  • CEVO Rule Based MR15, Knife Sides.

  • Games are to be played in 5v5 Captain’s Mode with all playable heroes in CM for current patch unless specified otherwise
  • Tournament will begin with a pool stage and move into a single elimination bracket
  • Bracket seeding will be random unless otherwise specified
  • Top one or two teams will advance out of the pool stage depending on the number of registered teams
  • All games will be best of one (1) except the finals, which will be best of three (3)
  • The side as well as the first pick will be chosen at random

  • No griefing, spamming, cursing, trolling, and flaming
  • No asking for OP, ranks, or items
  • No mods/hacks
  • No builds near spawn
  • No 1x1 Towers

  • All players will be required to pay one venue fee + a tournament entry fee for each tournament you wish to enter. Your venue fee covers the entire weekend.
    • Early Venue Fee: $10

Yes, there will be a vendor selling food and we will also be selling chips and pop during the event. Also, we will be bringing in PIZZA available for everyone free of charge on Saturday night.
It's an ALL ages event, anybody may join. Although, anybody under the age of 13 should be accompanied by an adult.

Parking is free throughout the event in lot S and T. However, you cannot park permanently in lot M because it is intended for drop off only.

No, you don't need to pay to spectate.
